Photographer Braden Summers traveled to several diverse countries to showcase that no matter who you are, love is love. Because there is a misconception of what being gay looks like he went out to photograph only gay couples.

greatest thing ever
(via witherwhetherwonder)
You are the bread and the knife,
The crystal goblet and the wine…
-Jacques Crickillon
You are the bread and the knife,
the crystal goblet and the wine.
You are the dew on the morning grass
and the burning wheel of the sun.
You are the white apron of the baker,
and the marsh birds suddenly in flight.
However, you are not the wind in the orchard,
the plums on the counter,
or the house of cards.
And you are certainly not the pine-scented air.
There is just no way that you are the pine-scented air.
It is possible that you are the fish under the bridge,
maybe even the pigeon on the general’s head,
but you are not even close
to being the field of cornflowers at dusk.
And a quick look in the mirror will show
that you are neither the boots in the corner
nor the boat asleep in its boathouse.
It might interest you to know,
speaking of the plentiful imagery of the world,
that I am the sound of rain on the roof.
I also happen to be the shooting star,
the evening paper blowing down an alley
and the basket of chestnuts on the kitchen table.
I am also the moon in the trees
and the blind woman’s tea cup.
But don’t worry, I’m not the bread and the knife.
You are still the bread and the knife.
You will always be the bread and the knife,
not to mention the crystal goblet and–somehow–the wine.
Word.
Man, I wish I had this last night when the boys were flipping out on a sugar high. Is there a mnemonic device for the steps for yanking a plastic drumstic out of a kid’s hand to stop him from hitting his brother? If so, nailed it.
We were finally able to make a trip to a local pumpkin patch and we had loads of fun. Onreivni got tired out pretty quickly though, ended up passing out as soon as we got her into the car. My parents joined us for the adventure and we got Onreivni an arms full of teeny pumpkins to paint and two gigantic pumpkins that daddy is going to help us carve :) So excited for halloween! We bought Onreivni her costume last night and we decided she will be trick or treating dressed as the most adorable little elephant in history. :)
I unfollowed everyone and I’m starting from scratch! I’d love to have your suggestions as to who I should follow! Especially parenting blogs, or blogs about children, arts&crafts, and photography :) Let me know!

WOW!
I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve written in here! Spring break seems so long ago. In that moment we were welcoming the chirping of birds and enjoying the return of the sun. Now here we are saying goodbye to warm weather and watching the first leaves of the season begin to fall.
I’m finishing up my first year of college and my Onreivni is now talking up a storm. She is ‘grande’ and 'fuerte’ (big and strong) she is healthy, and happy and currently at a birthday dinner with her grandma. Halloween is this Wednesday! Ahhhh. Crazy how fast time has passed us.
I’ve actually started a new blog. Just yesterday! I had forgotten about this one (shame on me!) but I think I’ll see how things work out with the new one… while trying to keep up with this one too.
If you guys want to check it out it’s blogspot based ( parttimerose.blogspot.com ) I’d love to have more readers. The blog will be more spread out and I will discuss mommyhood, college life, and of course my growing photography business.
Anywho, here are some pictures of my beloved enjoying the fall weather!
